We are looking for two Service Technicians to join our field-based team in Birmingham, working across the West Midlands. Our vast range of heavy plant machinery is supplied solely by Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) so you will receive training direct from the manufacturer, while working on high-end plant machinery, with state of the art technology.

Our team of Coordinators will schedule the work for you, so you will know in advance which customer you will be visiting and what work is required. This could be anything from an interim service on a 60 ton excavator to full service on a small digger.

You'll be supported by your team members, including Field Service Engineers who attend breakdowns and diagnose faults, Specialist Engineers who support on more technical issues out in the field, as well as Product Specialists, who advise on new product information and upgrades.

We want you to be a success in this role and will support your development from day one. All we ask of you is that you hold a valid and full UK driving licence, a mechanical qualification of some sort, ideally an NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent, have previous experience servicing or fitting parts and great customer service and communication skills.
